The tuition fees at "CURRENT prevention and treatment of pediatric diseases" amount to three thousand two hundred (€3,200) euros.
Tuition is paid in four instalments of 800 euros at the beginning of each semester. The part of the fees paid is not refunded in case of interruption of studies at P.M.S.
Free tuition
Students entitled to exemption from tuition fees are those whose individual income and equivalent family available income do not independently exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the individual and family seventy percent (70%) of the national median disposable equivalent income, according to the most recently published figures of the Hellenic Statistical Authority (HEL.STAT.). This exemption is granted for participation in a single programme.
In any case, the exempted students do not exceed the percentage of thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the programme. If the beneficiaries exceed the percentage of the previous paragraph, they are selected in order of ranking, starting from those with the lowest income. By a decision of the Minister of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, which is published in the Government Gazette, every issue related to the implementation of the previous paragraphs is defined.
The amount corresponding to the national median available equivalent income (individual and seventy percent (70%) of the family income) is determined annually, according to HEL.STAT data. For the application of this paragraph, the income of the last tax year, for which at the time of selection in the programme tax clearance has been completed, in accordance with what is defined in the Income Tax Code.
The application for tuition fee exemption is submitted after the selection process for the postgraduate programme students has been completed. A candidate's financial situation is in no case a reason for non-selection to the programme. Those receiving a scholarship from another source are not eligible for exemption.
A maximum of nine (9) students can attend the MSc without tuition fees. The Evaluation Committee will be able to request from the candidates for free studies the E1 and E9 of themselves and their family and the details of their bank accounts.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships will be awarded with a full tuition waiver to 2 graduates of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly, who will have an "Excellent" or "Very Good" degree and serve as medical interns at the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Thessaly. If there are more than two candidates per year, the selection will be based on the best average grade in the courses of Pediatrics I, II and Pediatrics (undergraduate). In case of a tie, the candidate whose permanent residence is Larissa will be chosen.
