The postgraduate program "CURRENT Prevention and Treatment of Pediatric Diseases" is structured in four (4) academic semesters, which include courses, clinical training and preparation of a diploma thesis.

The total number of credits (ECTS) required to obtain the Postgraduate Diploma (M.D.S.) is one hundred and twenty (120) ECTS.

The successful completion of the program includes the attendance and successful examination of all postgraduate courses, the completion of clinical training and the preparation of a diploma thesis as follows:

a) attendance and successful examination of all postgraduate courses, which are credited with a total of seventy-five (75) ECTS

b) participation in clinical training at the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Thessaly or in a Primary Health Care Clinic that treats pediatric patients, which is credited with fifteen (15) ECTS 

c) writing a postgraduate thesis during the 4th semester of studies which is credited with thirty (30) ECTS.
